I am a neuroscientist with a background in electrical engineering at the Center for Neural Science at NYU. I am interested in how the brain processes sound. I am actively working on auditory psychophysics in humans and gerbils, and on computational modeling of auditory perception for a variety of listeners, including normally hearing listeners, hearing impaired listeners and cochlear implant listeners. Previously I have worked at Boston University, where I have received a Ph.D. in Cognitive and Neural Systems, at the Medical Research Council in Cambridge, England, and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. read more about my work
